Hi, I’m Marina! I’m a mid-thirties, mom-to-be who’s learning that life doesn’t always go according to plan, and that’s perfectly okay.
When I was in college, my “life plan” was to get married at 23 and have 4 kids by the time I was 30. But God had other plans. By the time I turned 29, I was single, living with my mom, and the only child I had was my dog. I felt like life had passed me by, and began making new plans in case I was destined to just be the “fun aunt”, traveling around the world and always having chaotic stories to tell my nieces and nephews. What I didn’t know as I was planning and accepting my life as a single woman, was that later that year I would meet my husband…and that’s exactly how it was destined to be .
I married my husband, Brian, in 2022 and together we have three dogs and a baby girl on the way. My life is absolutely nothing like I “planned”. It is a delightful mess of awkward moments and a lot of laughs as I navigate and embrace motherhood in my 30’s, nurture a marriage that was designed by God, and share tips that mostly involve figuring it out as I go. Welcome to my wonderfully chaotic world where nothing goes as planned, but it’s all perfectly blessed anyway.
